Chest X-Ray in London

medical-room-background-medical-equipment-photo

An X-ray is a quick, painless scan that uses a small amount of radiation to create an image of the inside of the body. It’s commonly used to help clinicians check structures like the lungs, heart size/outline, and bones, and can support the assessment of symptoms such as a persistent cough, chest discomfort, or breathlessness.

A chest X-ray is usually completed in just a few minutes, and you can typically return to normal activities straight afterwards.

A chest X-ray is a diagnostic imaging test and may not be suitable for everyone. If you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant, please tell us before booking.

If you have severe symptoms (e.g., severe shortness of breath, chest pain, or you feel acutely unwell), you must seek urgent medical care.

Need a chest X-ray for work, travel, medical clearance, or clinical assessment? YEHS now offers private chest X-ray appointments that can be booked online, with imaging delivered by our trusted partner Phoenix Imaging.
