Dr. Adeola Buluro is a distinguished healthcare professional, currently holding the esteemed positions of Chief Medical Officer at Occupational Health Prime in both the UK and Nigeria, and Deputy Chief Medical Officer at Your Excellent Health Service in London. In these capacities, he is instrumental in the development of occupational health policies, the execution of comprehensive health reporting, and the management of bespoke healthcare services tailored to meet diverse workforce needs.

A seasoned General Practitioner (Family Physician) and Occupational Health Specialist, Dr. Buluro serves an elite clientele, including high-net-worth individuals and C-suite executives. His credentials extend to being a Medical Review Officer, an Oil and Gas UK (OEUK) medical examiner, and a medical PEME consultant for the Britannia P&I Club, alongside various corporate clients globally, across different sectors.

Within the NHS, Dr. Buluro has amassed experience across more than 30 healthcare facilities, encompassing GP surgeries, out-of-hours services, walk-in centers, and urgent treatment centers. His leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic was pivotal, notably in orchestrating response plans for organizations such as Marine Platforms Limited, and his expertise was further demonstrated through his involvement in sourcing Ebola Lateral Flow Assay Test Kits in collaboration with the CDC and Senova. His earlier contributions include playing a key role in the 2008 Integrated Measles Campaign in Nigeria, which successfully facilitated widespread immunizations.

Dr. Buluro’s professional certifications are extensive, including qualifications in Aviation Medicine from King’s College London, Travel Medicine from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and NEBOSH certifications in Health and Safety Management. Under his leadership, Occupational Health Prime achieved the prestigious ISO 15189:2012 accreditation for SARS-CoV-2 sample collection.

His dedication to community health is exemplified by his involvement with the Homeless Prevention Working Group (MKHP) in Milton Keynes, where he contributed to primary care services for the homeless. Additionally, in 2003, he co-founded a self-sustaining medical health center in Nigeria through the Bamako initiative, providing essential medical advice and treatment to underserved communities.

Dr. Buluro’s extensive career includes clinical and occupational health roles with numerous esteemed institutions such as the Canadian High Commission, Nigerian High Commission, The Co-Operative Group Limited (UK), Trident Energy Management Limited (UK), SubSea 7, Royal Caribbean Cruises, MSC Cruises, Virgin Cruises, GMT Energy Resources Ltd, Nigerian Breweries, Virgin Care (HCRG Care Group), Marine Platforms Limited, and Health Partners (UK).

His clinical expertise covers a broad spectrum of specialties, including accident & emergency, acute medicine, surgery, pediatrics, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, psychiatry, and occupational medicine.

Beyond his medical career, Dr. Adeola is a dedicated worship leader and entrepreneur, leading a Christian group of worship leaders with multiple annual gatherings. While at university, he founded the JB Summit Music School and directed the campus Christian mass choir (JB Summit Choir, Sagamu). His leadership journey began early, achieving the rank of Eagle Scout and nomination to represent Nigeria at the 18th World Scout Jamboree in the Netherlands in 1995.
